Cynthia D. Phillips, PA-C

Cynthia Phillips is a graduate of Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Physician Assistant Program.  She attended Campbell University undergraduate program and received a Bachelor of Science degree. 

 

Ms. Phillips grew up as an army “brat” and her husband had a 23 year military career which allowed her the opportunity to travel extensively in Europe, South America, and the United States.  She has lived in the Philippines, Germany and several states.

 

She has worked in Family Practice for the past 20 years practicing in Rocky Mount and Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She has close ties to North Carolina even though she is originally from Texas. 

 

Ms. Phillips is interested in furthering her profession through the education of potential students. She is a mentor for high school career programs as well as a preceptor for the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant programs at Duke University and Methodist University. 

 

Her interest in medicine is taking care of the entire family, prevention of disease through education and integration of wellness, holistic and traditional medicine techniques.

 

She is married for 36 years and has 2 daughters, 3 cats, 2 dogs and 5 grand dog.
